New York conversations have a way of traveling. On November 17th at The Glasshouse, we’ll honor those who help New York’s ideas reach the world at the 2026 New York Public Radio Gala. The night promises to be an unforgettable celebration of journalism, culture, and conversation, honoring New York Times-bestselling author and host of the “Happy Hour With Ina” podcast Ina Garten with the Cultural Advocacy Award; and Nobel Peace Laureate, Rappler Co-Founder and CEO, and Columbia University Professor Maria Ressa with the Impact Award. Guests will enjoy special performances by award-winning singer, songwriter, actor, producer, activist, and New York Times best-selling author Sara Bareilles; Tony and Grammy Award-winning, and Emmy Award-nominated actress and singer Renée Elise Goldsberry, and acclaimed multi-award-winning cellist and 2024 BBC New Generation Artist Sterling Elliott. When the Gala concludes, we’ll continue the celebration at our annual after-party, which will feature signature cocktails, NYC-inspired beats and live entertainment. Nearly a century after that first broadcast, New York Public Radio remains the voice of New York.
