New York Public Radio Gala:
The 2025 New York Public Radio Gala was held on November 18 at The Glasshouse. The gala’s Stand With Public Media theme captured the spirit and energy of the 600 guests in attendance. The celebration honored Ford Foundation’s Darren Walker with the Philanthropy Leadership Award; New Yorker editor and New Yorker Radio Hour host David Remnick with the Media Innovation Award; and Late Show with Stephen Colbert host Stephen Colbert, and arts advocate and producer, Evelyn McGee Colbert with the Cultural Advocacy Award. Actor Richard Kind served as host, with special appearances by Mikhail Baryshnikov and Noah Galvin, as well as performances by Jon Batiste, Conrad Tao, Ana Gasteyer, and Ben Platt. The night concluded with an afterparty featuring classic NYC eats and a set by DJ Questlove.
